After signing in, you will be taken to the main page. On the top right, click on the QR Code Icon.
You will be presented with a popup that contains a QR code, like this:
Open the 3CX App on your phone, agree to Terms and Condition if prompted, then tap Scan QR Code. Scan the QR code shown on the computer, then allow permissions.
You are now logged into the 3CX App.
If you are on iPhone: Setup is complete.
If you are on Android: you need to verify Battery Optimisation settings below.
Battery Optimisations (for Android users only)
On Android phones, the system will try to turn off apps that are not in use to save battery, but that interferes with the ability for 3CX to receive phone calls. To turn Battery Optimisations off, follow these steps:
Open the hamburger menu in the top left corner
Tap on “Settings” > “Advanced”
Search for “Switch off battery usage optimization”.
If the switch is on: you don’t need to do anything else.
If the switch is off: follow the steps below:
Turn on the switch.
Select “All Apps” from the drop down and tap on “3CX”
Choose “Don’t Optimize”, tap on “Done” and go back to your 3CX app.
You may be required to log into Call Queues as part of your function (IT Support Centre, Crisis On-Call Managers). Logging into Call Queues will allow your 3CX app to receive calls made to the queue number; logging out means your 3CX app will no longer receive phone calls from queue numbers.
Logging into / out of Call Queues
Open the 3CX App on your phone. On the top right, there should be a icon of a person with a headset.
A grey icon means you are NOT logged into the queue:
A white icon means you are logged into the queue.
To log in/out of the queue, tap on the icon and confirm that you want to sign into / out of the queue.
